Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Jester Bot ("Bot") and related services, including our web dashboard at jesterbot.gg (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including server administrators who add the Bot to their Discord servers and individual users who interact with the Bot.

Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by Discord in your country)
  • Have a valid Discord account in good standing
  • Have the authority to bind yourself to these Terms
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

Description of Service

Jester Bot is a Discord bot that provides entertainment and utility features, including but not limited to:

  • Casino Games: Virtual currency gambling games for entertainment purposes only
  • Music Player: Audio playback from various sources
  • Prank Commands: Fun commands for server entertainment
  • Server Management: Automation, moderation, and configuration tools
  • Web Dashboard: A web interface for managing bot settings

Casino & Virtual Currency

Our casino features use virtual currency ("Coins") that:

  • Have no real-world monetary value
  • Cannot be exchanged for real money or goods
  • Cannot be transferred to other users outside of designated features
  • May be modified, reset, or removed at our discretion

Important: Our casino games are for entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute real gambling. We do not accept, process, or pay out real money wagers.

User Conduct

When using our Service, you agree NOT to:

  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or bypass any security measures
  • Abuse, harass, or threaten other users through the Service
  • Use automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service (API abuse)
  • Deliberately crash, overload, or disrupt the Service
  • Share exploits or vulnerabilities publicly instead of reporting them
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse features or evade bans
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Impersonate Jester Bot staff or other users

Premium Subscriptions

Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent periods
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused time

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of your paid subscription, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Jester Bot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our code or content without permission
  • Use our branding, logo, or name in a misleading way
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
  • Create derivative works based on our Service

Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party platforms including:

  • Discord: Subject to Discord's Terms of Service
  • YouTube: Subject to YouTube's Terms of Service
  • Spotify: Subject to Spotify's Terms of Service
  • Stripe: For payment processing

We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Results from using the Service will be accurate or reliable

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JESTER BOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jester Bot, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse of the Service or other users
  • Fraud or suspicious activity
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Data may be retained or deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting an announcement in our Discord server or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
